Well, this is spinning into corners that make me think too hard about it.
I just turned 45, and discovered I have less brain cycles left than last year, so I officially don't care anymore.

OK first of all is it middle or old? Secondly, the only way to get that energy back is to excersize. Play a sport. Walk. Do something. The harder physical, aerobic work you do, the more relaxed and better you will feel. You have only one choice....lethargy or energized.
