OK, so i have been working online for quite a while and now want to venture into the adult industry... and would like to keep it very distant from my other business... for obvious reasons !
So now im looking into company formation options in places such as Antigua, BVI, etc.... I would like to get some advice from the Pro's here about there experience and any advice about setting up an offshore company for adult business. Do you use nominee directors ?? how do things work ? I understand the location should be payment processor friendly, ccbill etc.. |

If this is for tax reasons you might as well move there as well. Joe Francis thought he could hide his income offshore and hes still paying hte price.

Offshore really isn't an answer, most of the players who are going offshore went to where their companies are located. It is very hard to play the offshore game without some very good cover, good legal and tax advice, etc. If your company does most of it's work and business in your home country, it is very hard to get away from the tax liabilities etc.
There are people who will tell you how to do it, but some of them will charge you a fair bit because they are paying off big tax liens.

I dont set up off shores but an attorney I know does and he has basically told me not to send new start up clients since it is costly. Usually $75k+
And the benefits dont kick in until you are clearing $500k+ per year. That was before Obama closed a lot of the loopholes though. |
