OK. I need advice.

I had ibill as some of you know - they suck so i managed to get a merchant account. What i did not know was that the affiliate/partner/reseller for ipaymentinc.com lied to me - and told me that they do process adult sites.
He also lied to the bank, first national and told them I have an arts & crafts website.

Unfortunately after 1 solid year with no chargebacks and a 100 % profitibility rate, I had a chargeback on 12/24. As my account with ipaymentinc was new, they flagged it for review. They also took $500.00 out of my checking account, as a protective measure, and now they want to see 10-15 invoices so they can make sure I'm following proper billing procedures. ( ibill is my gateway, so i have invoices and it's all automated, i never even know the members card numbers and if they contact me - then i know their names, otherwise i don't )

So... now i find out, my merchant account is still active, but the bank that processes for them is only willing to process non adult sales.

Ack. Where can I find a REAL merchant account for REAL adult merchants?

Help, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Between 1/2 my members being stuck on gkard with ibill and not getting paid, and 1/2 my members stuck on a merchant account that was never supposed to process adult stuff - I'm not getting paid ANYTHING - nothing. no dimes, no pennies. nothin'.


Since I was intentionally misinformed by the moron who just wanted a commision and he tried to " cloak " my site as an " arts and crafts " site, now i'm kind of screwed. All my members are paying, I have a very good chargeback ratio - basically none in the last 12 months, except for 12/24 - thanks to that person, and the guy who sold me the merchant account ( yes i paid for it ) well- I'm screwed.

So... help? i need help from the big boys, I need advice. I want someone to hold my hand. Is that too much to ask? I may not be the waify fake titted chick you're all into but whatever, I've got some stuff going on, so help a fellow webmaster out - please?

I would look to set up an account with CCBill, that way you can set up an easy referal program. So many webmasters are already signed up, it would be easy to get traffic if you have a unique site that can convert and retain.

Anthony says he has a billing solution as well.

And Anthony is family. I expect to have some more solutions after Vegas when I see where everyone is at.

WTS can hadle your checking needs and cybertokens looks like a decent solution as well.

CJ & I tried to warn everyone about Solar Billing on the very first Oprano Radio show. I had really hoped that we were wrong about Bob but it seems now that they arent billing for hte evil adult site and are going to focus on billing for gambling.

Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire....

Though I agree with Michael, from the standpoint of resellers liking their system, having existing ref codes they can integrate with new sponsors to get one check per week, and the 100% payment history, its' not a bad idea for someone with a small program at all.

Oh I agree....

CCBill is almost certainly the best "starter" processor these days. And in reality, all of them have their issues.

We've always tried to split our's between CCBill and Epoch....guess we chose wisely as those are the two left standing. Again, might be a tad premature for a wake for IBill, but they're definitely in the ICU....

Mike - if you were in my shoes, besides playing with my boobs all day you would look for your own merchant account - would you have any suggestions about where to look for that?

I went to ynotmasters and I checked the top two advertisers listed there, both of which offered high risk merchant accounts. I've had 1 chargeback in 13 months, but i guess if nipples are involved, then it's high risk automatically, right?

I got a quote from PayCom - you guys have heard of them right ?

13.85% and no reserve on credit cards
10% on checks and a 5 % reserve
750 visa fee for year 1/375 yearly thereafter

Is cc bill preferred over paycom? I wish visa would record our fee to them on an individual basis so we could use multiple processors and diversify so an ibill fiasco like this doesn't occur again.

I'll see if I can get another merchant accout, and what the fees might be, and update here as I can. I know ultimately the choice is up to me but I have friends telling me that this is all a sign and I should head back to corporate america. ack. I refuse. The politics of corp america are creepier to me than the adult business could ever be.

CCBill has never been late with a check.

Their customer service is by far the BEST of any processor Ive dealt with.

Corvett is thru Oprano once a day as well.

For what you need, CCbill is better then Epoch in my opinion.

As for merchant accounts, I have no idea who to ask, I have heard of the people mentioned in the thread.

Ipayment does not process adult. Who was your agent there? Did yopu report him/her to the bank for lying? We setup merchant accounts for our clients on a daily basis and can save you money over what other processors charge. It does not matter whether you are selling memberships or products. We can help.

If you're not doing 50k a month or so in billing, then I'd definitely stick with a third party for the time being.
