Iraq - Kidnapped Two Frenchmen

If anyone are still in doubt... The original war in Iraq has been over for some time, but a new war is being fought - the war islamic fundamentalist want to fight against democracy in not only Iraq, but in the rest of the world.

DUBAI (Reuters) - An Iraqi militant group has kidnapped two Frenchmen and given the French government 48 hours to end a ban on Muslim headscarves, Arabic television station Al Jazeera said Saturday.

The channel aired a brief video showing two men standing in front of a black banner bearing the name of the Islamic Army in Iraq (news - web sites). One man told the camera: "I would like to tell my family that everything is OK."

Jazeera identified the men as George Malbrunot and Christian Chesnot. Last week, the French Foreign Ministry said two journalists with those names had gone missing in Iraq.

I guess it would be too much to hold them hostage until regular bathing becomes the norm in France?

France is in a tough spot, they have millions of arabs who live there, and the number is growing.

The muslim situation in the EU is interesting - many countries in the EU do not allow statistics/demographics based on religion, so you can not know exactly how many muslims there really are... some experts say 15-25 million out of 450 million people, which is only 3-6% of the population in the EU, however since the fundamentalist way of Islam is against almost EVERY value of freedom held by western democracies, then those 3-6% make ALOT of noice - demanding to islamise the communities they live in, and sending their children to "koran" schools in islamic countries, so they do not get integrated with the europeans.
The communities they live in are usual the poor areas, where its easy to dominate, if you are resourceful - this is used by fundamentalists.

Its kinda ironic to think about - the socialists in Europe have been successful in solving many of the poverty issues, however by turning their "blind eye" to the islamic fundamentalist for so many years/decades, then they have actual allowed the creation of a new poor class, which are working against the values socialist have fought for - so in the end, it might not be the rich capitalist, but the poor fundamentalist who is the biggest threat to the socialist society... this is what France and alot of other european countries are finding, so they have begun a fight against the fundamentalism version of islam, but they are affraid if they say it out loud, then the fundamentalist will just get more support, so they use international issues (ex. Iraq war) to gain support from muslims in national politics, so they can tighten their rules against the fundamentalism in their own countries.

The banning of muslim head scarves are in France, another hated rule by muslims is in the scandinavian countries they have made a rule, which say that citizen is not allowed to live with a foreign non-EU/EEA spouse in until both are 24 years old - this is stop the arrange marriages, where the spouse is from a islamic country - before the rule was made 50-60% of all islamic youth found their spouse in islamic countries, now after the rule this is close to 5-7%
