YOU THINK A GALLON OF GAS IS EXPENSIVE?
This makes one think, and puts things in perspective. Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29..........$10.32 per gallon Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19........$ 9.52 per gallon Gatorade 20 oz $1.59...............$10.17 per gallon Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25.........$10.00 per gallon Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15.............$33.60 per gallon Vick's Nyquil 6 oz. $8.35.........$178.13 per gallon Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85.........$123.20 per gallon Whiteout 7 oz $1.39.................$25.42 per gallon Scope 1.5 oz $0.99..................$84.48 per gallon and this is the REAL KICKER... Evian water 9 oz for $1.49.........$21.19 per gallon $21.19 FOR WATER!..... and the buyers don't even know the source. So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad you car doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout, or God forbid PEPTO BISMOL or NYQUIL!!!! |

Yeah, for most of those I was thinking the same thing.....but the water really is a killer....I buy all my water and I go through at LEAST a gallon a day with a family of 5...that's $20 a day....we don't spend that much on gas.

I don't buy 20+ gallons of Pepto Bismol a week and my life would be much different if I went through 20+ gallons of Nyquil every week

I pay 33 cents a gallon for water, plus $9 a pound for the coffee I filter most of it through; gas hit $1.80 here the other day.
I doubt very seriously there is any more price manipulation going on with gas prices than there was in, say, the California energy market two years ago. I am a cynical old bastard. BTW - Nyquil is available in bulk at your discount liquor store. I think they call it Creme de Menthe.

LOL Gigi.
That list missed out the all important Beer Standard Over here it works out to roughly $32 / gallon (about £20) + incidentals for a late night Kebab or Curry. And don't get me started about gas (petrol) prices! Your $1.80 / gallon equates to at least three mutterings of the Monty Python phrase "you lucky, lucky bastards". We pay around $6 / gallon
