Site Names

[sarettah]

Damn...

I have been working on my sponsor/site database. A list of all my sponsors, their sites, link codes, pretty much all the info I need for building.

I'm going through and looking at the various site names. Some of these I wouldn't even be able to put a text link to on a free site because they wouldn't get past the linklists "illegal terms" filter. I realize that some of these are Non U.S. based, and perhaps they cater to mainly foreign traffic, but for us U.S. based webmasters to put some of these terms/ term combinations on a site would be just asking for trouble if you ask me.

I am not going to post the various site names because I really don't want to get pissy with anyone. All you need to do is pull up 10 different sponsors and look through their entire site list, you will see the type of names I mean.

For my part, I will just not put links up to those particular sites, shame too, because it appears that all the content would pass legal muster and it looks to me like they could convert, it is just the name that seems to be inviting particular audiences that for the most part most adult webmasters seem to want to avoid being associated with.

Just imho of course.
