jimmyf is the cockholster of the week for sending the reminder e-mail for the NatNetPick'em game to SpamCop. This is the third year of running the Pick'em game, and we have always sent out reminders to the contestants to make their picks. A lot of people forget to make picks and get put behind. Sometimes there are early games as well, on Thursdays so picks must be in early. In 3 years only 1 spamcopy complaint.... from jimmyf@best.com Jjimmyf sent his reminder e-mail to spamcop saying it was a spam, so Todd from WebINC who we had a link to has been under attack now by SpamCop for being a spammer ( we include one link a week to the GENEROUS sponsors of the contest). This is complete BULLSHIT and hence jimmyf gets the cockholster of the week prize, and is BANNED from the NatNet Pick'em game. Anyone who does business with this cockholster should be aware of his behavior!

Oprano, and Mutt make nothing from the Pick'em game. We do it because we love it. We have WONDERFUL sponsors who kick in great prizes.... these are the same people who are ALWAYS giving things away. NatNet, WebInc., MaxCash, etc.... Then some ungrateful peice of shit tries to start trouble.... I will never do business with jimmyf so I hope he does not waste his time and try to join PureCash! He is banned from the NatNet Pick'em as well!! He will not get a chance to wn an XBOX/ps2 or the 57 inch Sony HD TV!!

So yesterday morning PST usa time I am telling my sysadmins / security guys that my design people can't send or recieve email to webinc.com unless it's internal. They say todd for some reason it looks like your port 25 is blocked at the router. I say how could that be, I call 2 times to my isp, dumb shit techs say nope your not blocked. I tell my guys what they said, guys say they will keep checking, take down firewalls, etc, etc few hours later they say it's gotta be that. I say I checked 2 times, no way. I say you better get this shit fixed asap, I pay you good fucking money each month to watch all my servers, security, etc. I goto bed, it's later here in europe. I wake up today, emails are working. my guy calls isp in canada finds out from supervisor it is blocked, they unblock, and Todd better call us today I call and say what's the problem. We only use webinc.com email for work, nothing else. I say I want to see any emails claiming we sent spam, he says something about a football pool emails, I say hugh? He says Natnetpickem, I say so, it's just for webmasters in our industry. He says someone complained 3 times, I said shit... Anyways, all is good now.... As mike said, Oprano and anyone related to this just does it for fun and because they love football.. peace

Can't believe they cut you off over 1 complainer. I've had some dealings with spamcop and I can confirm they are idiots. A webmaster causing this kind of bs over a football pickem should be swiftly kicked in the ass.

thanks. well at least they didn't turn off port 80  just email for a day. but what is really fucked up is mutt and crew are the ones who sent this out from there servers, not us.So it's scary to think that because your domain name / link is on a opt-in newsletter, someone can complain about it and your fucked too. guess I might need to look for another host soon....

I would give spamcop and your host a mouthful of fuck you and tell them they are once again hurting genuine business whilst spammers go on un-touched.. It is your Host's fault just as much as Spamcop's that dick wads like Jimmyf spend their days reporting people for genuine emails.
Maybe they will get the message after being told 10,000 times.. Cant wait until someone sues one of the fuckers for unreasonable restraint of trade.... I wouldnt mind so much if they had ANY effect on hardcore spammers... but they are just self indulgent cliques providing a flawed service to make lazy sysadmins feel like they have "done enough" Webmasters regulalrly report link sites for the confirmation emails that are sent out when confirming a submission if the emails include any advertising.. people suck... so we have to be prepared and have a good host that doesnt fuck you over at the first sign of trouble becasue they are lazy! Any host that blocks you without making 300% sure you are wrong first isnt a good host... they dont deserve your money Todd!!! Give your $$$ to Dan or Sean for fucks sake.. keep it in the family.. that host must not even have a clue about this industry if they blocked you like that..
