Danny, congrats on the new house (and renewing it). There are plenty of nice places out on the Ontario side of the border, and you can still stay in touch with and commute to Montreal when you need to without too many issues.
I will say too that the last 12 months or so around here as been another 401 exodus, although anyone I know under 30 or so seems to be heading past Toronto and on further west. I sort of have similar plans... just VERY west!
