EJ you raise a great point but I'll have to disagree for a moment. Whoever "brittney" is, she raises a valid point. When the whole HIV story broke, people were in panic mode trying to find out who was at fault for fucking up the industry. I don't recall seeing that type of interest when they ran that story about Dirty D either. So it does give the public the poor perception that those in adult care more about HIV cases than those accused of shooting a minor. If there was Joe Schmo doing this out of his bedroom, you all would have had a field day. But since Dirty D has been in this game for a long time and made people $$$, no one wanted it to be true much less think that this great awesome guy could do something so stupid. It would be another thing if just shot porn but he also claims to be a marketing and branding genius that gives lectures and seminars at shows.

I think the reason adult gets painted with the GFY brush is because thats "where the industry meets". Fair or not, it comes with the territory. The problem is if he somehow beats the charge, how quickly will everyone run back to do business with him, even if he is actually guilty?

I think the target is placed there not so much because of society but moreso because of the middle fingers guys like Max and Rob did and from what I understand, what Dirty D has done in Tampa. Getting busted jerking off in an adult bookstore, not once but twice and then a year later appearing before the judge for a charge like this is not going to look good at all and you know the jury will hear about the previous crap and whatever else authorities have dug up on him. If anyone doesn't think this isn't going to get bigger, you're crazy.
