The DOJ/FBI isn't gonna give a damn that a foreign company can't give them the required documents. ALL they care about is whether or not that US citizen complies. I know there is NO WAY IN HELL I would ever say to the DOJ/ FBI that I don't have the documents US law requires because a (insert foreign country here) says they can't give me them.
