yeah, i still miss that along with weekly 5 figure checks from Xpics. i was young and dumb then myself, they were the ones that taught me how much money can be made from scamming surfers and how long term it taints your traffic.

but alas, they are long long gone, and i still get checks from recurring member bases created back then. treat 'em as customers and with respect, and they KEEP ON giving you money.
there's an ethics question hiding in there someplace....
if you could go back in time, knowing what you know now, would you go down the path of "free joins" with the back end credit card slams and all that traffic, put millions in the bank and bail when things got hot? or do you stay on the straight and narrow?
