I'm not one for installing computer parts other than putting in a stick of memory ever so often. When a box goes down I usually just put it in the pile with the other old ones ( it is getting pretty deep after all these years ) and go buy a new one which is usually bigger and better. This time I messed up and forgot to backup some Music CD artwork from my XP that went down last week, my question to those that may know ... is there any known problem with installing my old XP hard drive into my new machine that is a Vista? I read about the procedure of 1. set to slave 2. plug in hard drive 3. plug in power ... Is it that simple? Thanks in advance ... I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask before operating here.
