In their place pictures of strapping bucks in cashmere jumpers and well-tailored trousers, doing exotic acts such as unloading the dishwasher. Red-light districts would become conservation areas, with men invited into cars strictly for nice chats only.
Y'know, this always bugs the TEE-TOTAL SHIT outta me.
it reminds me of
this book:
Not because they're bogus as shit, but 'cos they perpetuate the complete ghettoisation of feminine sexuality under the dubious guide of "feminism." As someone who has long proudly borne the mantle of feminist - even when roundly and soundly derided for same - I find this idea that women don't like sex doubly galling.
Didn't we go through this more than two centuries ago, when freakin' Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley and Abigail Adams and Elizabeth Cady Stanton were writing about the insidious stupidity inherent in the idea of the "fairer sex?" I'm pretty sure we did.
Don't even get me started on the idea it puts forth that we, as women, aren't capable of doing "meaningful" work in the logical extrapolation of theory here because our emotions will get in the way.
