I doubt it. I was in the position of owing Visa a lot back in the late 90s. Got out of it and never went back to their credit system. This recession will change a lot of things we took for granted.
My hope is with the freeloaders and the people who can't pay the Tube buckle, but I doubt it will happen without a push from us.
