Yep, I do draw the line at bringing in family who have nothing to do with the argument in question. Only someone who is "low and shallow" would do that. All you are trying to do now is justify a line you crossed.

Yes, I would ban anyone that took a little fight and brought a person's family into it. I wouldn't want my board to be associated with a person like that. It adds nothing at all to the discussion and is only there to try and make the fight more personal, at the expense of someone not even involved. What you chose to do is a sign of a very weak person, both in intelligence and in moral fortitude.
