Part of my point was hoping that people would see how ridiculous this bill is proposing and how "us" as a society need babysitting on "what & where" we decide to eat cause "we" as a society are not able to care for ourself, So like the way most stupid laws are passed from American Elected official are proposed.., it's a form of Government Babysitting that the American seem to require. 
It amazes me that someone would be so fucking worried about how FAT our America Community is, But no one seems to worry about the people who go to bed hungry every evening or possibly haven't eaten a square meal in day. How come a bill isn't passed to assure that every American goes to bed with a full stomach every night? |
There are a number of things that could conceiveably be done in this arena - none of them that I think are good ideas, mind you, but I could envision having to show a recent doctor's eval to be able to order certain items - much like showing ID to ourchase smokes or booze.
Of course, there is an easier solution, but that involves just doing away with crappy food and encouraging personal accountability... and we all know how much the average American hates both of those ideas.
