It's nothing to do with touchy feely sensitive-ponytail-man garbage and everything to do with the simple fact that I don't tend to think of myself as "chick to hit on."
I put that all down to having been a guy all of my life (to the point I've had friends ask me "If you were a chick..." and so on). I'm pretty much a dude with internal plumbing and strange affinity for the colour pink.
