http://weedshare.com bit the dust! Being a recording artist myself, I thought it was a great drm format for music files. Yes, I know DRM is hated by the masses, even when not porn.
For those not familiar, weed music files would play 3 times for anyone, then prompt the listener to buy on the 4th attempt. The producer/band would get 50% of every file, Weed would get 15% and the remainder was split among listeners that spread the file. Basically, you could get your money back after 5 people you sent a song, purchased it. Our you could host the files at a site and "sell" them as free downloads, earning 20 cents intial purchase. Anyone think porn movie files could sell profitably this way?
