LizAEBN, I did look over your tos, didn't like them. Two fold. As a webmaster, I would love to bring VOD to my regulars, but I have no, as in zero, interest in selling random videos. Second as a producer I want a customer to be able to choose my videos. As for why I don't see VOD surviving, standing in the shoes of a consumer, if I like a movie I might want to watch it again, tomarow, next week, next year, but I don't want to have to pay for it again every time I want to watch it. Of course I also want theater quality movies, main stream movies that don't treat me like I'm a flippin virgin. And there is only so many times you can watch Dick bops Jane, it get's old fast.
Hmmm. First off, I apologise for the delay in response - like you, I've been busy and haven't checked the board as much as usual.

And now, down to business
Well, there are a few obvious answers here:
1) As a producer, you can certainly offer your video to your consumers - many studios do exactly that by presenting their content via the customised theatre front. You are, of course, aware, that the theatre can be filtered down to very specific studios/ niches/ stars, et cetera, which allows you the freedom to pick and choose precisely which content you would like to have available.

2) With regard to ownership, you may not be aware that although PPM/ VOD is our most popular option for many viewers due to the fact that often variety is, indeed, the spice of life - we also offer download to own and burnable options for those who prefer to build a personal library of content. This allows your visitor and the eventual viewer the option to try before buying - because we've all been burned by paying for a film that wasn't worth it when we got it home - and leads to a higher level of end user satisfaction.

3) You are preaching to the choir with wanting "theater quality movies" - I've long wanted to see more production value in adult, but I'm sure the studios have their reasons for the method in whcih they produce content. As I am not a studio, I can't speak to those reasons, unfortunately.
