In a word,
No. It may give the winning programs an excuse to send out newsletters, affiliate emails, issue a press release, etc. but that's about it.
Notice how all the nominees were from large multi-site programs. If it were really based strictly on merit you'd think that at least one independent would have made the top five nominees, in a few categories such as Fetish Site or Solo Girl Site.
