The FFNs headed down this afternoon. As is usually the case, stories follow, and I cant do 'em all justice tonight.

Started with a dog in the crown room while we were drinking. I bitch about kids in there, but had no idea what to say about a dog. And we're not talking about a service dog, we're talking about one of those little furry tiny dogs that you could use to clean your toilet bowl with. He didn't hike his leg on anything, amazingly enough in a strange place. So I guess there's no real problem with it, just amazed to see someone bring a dog into the crown room and make themselves that much at home. I'm thinking of stripping down to my underwear next time I'm in there to watch TV.

GonZo made a new friend on the plane, I'll save that for him...actually he made a couple. Hopefully he'll introduce the one that had a lot to say to the board.

Anyhow, made it to Tampa, secured the pimp mobile and made it to the hotel about 4:30 or so. I would describe the hotel as "basic accomodations". Not bad, but nothing special. Hotel had a few hiccups with getting me into my room....they tried to give me a job with American Airlines. But they seem to be trying hard.

Registration was a snap, though I feel like I'm in a hospital having to wear a green strap on my arm for 3 days. Saw Lee Noga for the first time in a few years for me at registration. Didn't recognize her because she looked so good. Dont know what she's doing with herself these days, but she looks 10 years younger and looks great.

After our Berns trip, had our first puking drunk siting. It was not the 3131. Looked to be someone's "hired help" who was trying to pick some older gent at the bar earlier. She was out by the parking lot using a rail to steady herself, looked like someone was spinning the concrete underneath her.

Made a Wal-mart run, but that's a whole other post.

Skipped the trip to swinger land with DirtyD and crew. I'm not real big on offsite parties unless I can have my own transportation. No one could tell us where it was, so pimp mobile stayed at the hotel. Early reviews by the folks coming back weren't good, but I'll let someone who was actually there give the real skinny.

Found a good group of folks out by the pool and spent the last 3-4 hours out there talking business....isn't that a novel idea for a show? And all grown ups and business men old enough to remember what CQDX means. Only fault out there was the bar closed at midnight. They likely missed out on some major cash as people were heading offsite to bars that were open.

The DirtyD party crew came back in just as we were leaving. Looks like the usual suspects got their drink on bigtime. I hear there may be video....
