I did look at what he was talking about and learned something. Somewhere along the way, the NATS news update and the file the front page new is pulled from have become disconnected. My error, it's likely been that way since the 3.0 upgrade. So if you login, you got current news, but just looking at the outside pages it had ancient stuff up. Since I'm always logged in, I never noticed. Programmers and admins should never be allowed to do their own QA.
I did a touch up fix and will do something more thorough sometime when I have time so Smarty grabs the right stuff.
