The only reason for the mass illegal migration is the huge economic disparity between the U.S. and Mexico. I think far more pressure needs to be placed on the Mexican goverment to quell corruption and increase economic opportunity. Our border with Canada is much longer than the one with Mexico, but I don't think I've ever heard a news story about a Canadian being in the US illegally.

and I agree with you totally....bottom line is that mexico needs to get their shit together, but I honestly think they are so far gone these days with what you mentioned that someone coming in and taking over would not work int he slightest...I don't even have an idea in my head as to how they could transform the years of corrpution into a fair gonvernment, it would not be a fast process, that is for sure
