I find there's a high difference between a smartass who challenges you, and someone who has enough self respect that he crawls to NOBODY. A strong man who is used to being in control all the time should be able to express his devotion to a woman, in ways other than turning into a ball-less simpering idiot who does as 'commanded' regardless of how degrading the requested action/behavior may be. Once he's tossed aside all self respect in a quest to 'respect' me, that "respect" he shows me, is IMO valueless.
I want a man who knows how to bite the world in the ass (when it deserves it) but who also will give in to my requests, while holding onto a degree of self respect that prevents him from crossing any lines he would personally/individually feel are unnecessary to cross. I don't hold an ounce of respect for others who don't respect me, and by asking me to cross personal boundaries, they are most definitely disrespecting me. ...Then again, I have been told I'm a 'natural Alpha' to the degree that it comes out in ALL areas of my life, something I don't have any trouble believing given how easily I can get people to do what I want...
