and the prison system he has been in, according to Fred, makes Midnight Express look like a resort...
Fred did personally email me last week with this update...
The judge in my case has sent my file back to the prosecutor with the admonition to “amplify and explain” the charges as she can not find anything that makes any sense. This is what my lawyer has been arguing for 13 months! Now, Panama’s Attorney General has accused all the prosecutors of the country saying that they do not know how to conduct investigations! This accusation was made public today, along with the revelation that conditions in the country’s jails do not meet human rights standards! The Attorney General, Ana Matilde Gomez also announced that all prosecutors must visit the jails on a monthly basis to endure that justice is being done and cases are followed through in a timely manner.
I have been talking about these problems through my websites, fredsalaff.com and realpanama.org. for a year and it is somewhat gratifying to see some results at long last.
Donations are sorely needed to continue the legal battles (I am still not free), to pay for medicine and dental work, and to just survive!
[please] contribute (even$5.00 goes a long way in Panama)
Thanks to all for your continued support!

still he would have not gotten in trouble if the house was in a far away place man. i know he did not break any laws. there is no written law about it either. in fact his case was droped because there was no child molestation which is the law that they tried to apply.
but why be in the middle of a town with lots of people around
