Here the girls (from what was said) were not openly displaying their affections, instead - they were expelled based on what they were thinking and feeling.

If it was a matter of the school not liking lesbians because it is against their belief system, then why students of other faiths that do not hold their same beliefs? No, this is far deeper than that - this is guilty based on someones rights and freedoms.
