voodooman...Junior Seau (San Diego native and former Charger) does a "Shop With a Jock" thing every year. Like most of the ones like this I've seen, when his was on the news, I was so taken with the kids who spent the majority of their money on *other* people. They care more about their family getting presents than they do about getting things themselves. It's both extremely touching and somewhat heartbreaking at the same time.
It's especially wonderful for the police to do this. It helps forge a link in the child's mind between "cops" and "good guys."
