You are from canada also.. and on the Island? I have friends in Courtenay... I went there last summer... I am from Edmonton, Alberta.
Where do you live on the Island? We only stayed one night in Victoria... although it was actually really nice there... but... Our hotel caught on fire and we were evacuated (I lost my kids who were in the pool for over an hour... fire trucks came and everything... turned out to be a kitchen fire in the restaurant).
We were staying at the Royal Scot near the harbor.
Then we went to Courtenay... stayed at a really nice golf resort there... cant remeber the name of it now though...
