Since it is a resolution, it has no more authority or weight than a recommendation by any consumer.

Since the resolution has no authority, they are not restricting speech in any way.

Since it involves questions of decency, it's probably not "restriction of trade" either.

Somebody is always getting their panties in a knot about something. Abercrombie has a habit of pushing the envelope - that they might put out t-shirts some find demeaning to women is entirely possible, if in fact the children they use in most of their promotional material can be considered women.

Do I think the Senator is a moron? Probably. But charge him for stupidity, and don't get hysterical in your accuations.
