From a business standpoint, that's very true. I think it's a very good idea to start with glamour and if necessary - or even more importantly - if you happen to feel like it - go farther with it. But you're right, you can please some of the people some of the time, and the rest are just congenitally pissed off anyway. (Of course, I have a preference for "glamour shots" anyway.)
