The Mason-Dixon line is the bottom of PA bordering on the top of Maryland, so, to the South, we're "The North".
We're next to NY on the top and top right, which is Northeast for sure.
We're, as you said, next to Ohio, which is the start of the MidWest ....
Now I'm confused!
