Damn, I hate incompetence. Why did he think this sort of activity could be performed without injury?

I'll lay odds that the idiot delayed seeking medical treatment out of a desire not to state how the injuries happened.

I used to torture one of my favorite teachers in high school by sticking my head in the door when he had a classroom full of sophomores and saying "why don't you tell the class how Catherine the Great died?" then running like hell.

Catherine the Great was a horse lover, too.

She also had lovely young maidens stand in her garden during the winter until they froze to death, making lovely frozen statuary.
