Dravyk is actually not a Russian/Balkan name
... It's a science fiction one. One I and an old writing partner came up with decades ago writing some SF. Captain Aran Dravyk of the Privateer ship "The Rapier".

I was getting my first SLIP/PPP account (dialup to you youngins) and they wanted a name for my Internet account. Everything I came up with, someone else already had, so they said "well you can have that name, but with a 5 after it or a 143 after the name". I said, "no, I don't do that AOL shit! No numbers!" ... After a dozen different tries, I knew they couldn't possibly have "dravyk", and there you have it.
