For people who don't need it I don't see how the 'high' or whatever would do anything for ya.. When I started taking it and had no tolerance (was on .25 mg tabs) I got some 1 mg tabs from a friend.. I took up to 3 of the .25's at a time and popped all three of the 1 mg's ... WOW ... my ass was dizzy and passed out right away..
So all I saw it did when I guess I abused it (even though it was accidental) was that I got really really tired plus a high that wasn't all that great.. just relaxing.. Now if you are taking it because u need to chill out and need it for your nerves I could see why you would want it, but a good legitimate family doctor should be able to prescribe some sort of benzo to help out .. such as time released clonazepam

I used to take Xanax, and could never figure out why it had any street value. (And yes, Ryan, you can fuck yourself up *seriously* going cold turkey, you *never* do that...you come off that stuff very, very slowly...the slower the better.)
I'm on Klonopin (clonazepam) now and it works fine for me. I have a seizure disorder that's triggered by anxiety attacks (that's a fun combo) and the Klonopin really helps.
