Upon reflection...you're right, it does.
I can picture the proper British butler holding the silver tray saying "your duck crumpets, Madam."
However, I am very much afraid to look at the tray to find out exactly *what* a "duck crumpet" is.
Ah...I've got it. Leftover breakfast goodies one takes to the park to sit beneath the shade of a tree and toss to the happy ducks. *Those* are "duck crumpets."
