I used to be okay with that concept, but I've moved on to asking when is it ever "okay" to say to a young person "this is the day your innocence goes away", or "today you give up your body to someone else whether you want to or not"?

After that you'll have a 180-day internship roaming the halls and classrooms of all three levels of public school - elementary, middle, and high - and you will not be allowed to stick your fingers in your ears or cover your eyes. You will be required to review all of the materials and textbooks the students are assigned, including those that have been heavily censored, altered, or outright changed by various pressure groups, such as two counties in Georgia cutting out and/or painting over the famous artwork of Washington crossing the Delaware because his freaking pocketwatch supposedly looked like his penis and testicles hanging out of the CENTER his SIDE-BUTTONED pants.

Maybe then you'll realize that the real threat to your child isn't 4 pages out of this book, but the institution of public school itself.
After that, I'd be happy to help you find support groups and guidelines for how you can homeschool your daughter through the rest of her high school education easily and successfully.

My little degenerates went to urban public schools. Had one of those "what do you want to be when you grow up" conversations with my oldest, who told me that she couldn't be a doctor - she had to be a nurse - because doctors were boys. So, I called up the teacher, scheduled a conference, and asked specifically to see her textbooks because I
knew she wasn't getting that shit at home. Had the teacher sweating bullets - she was scared shitless I was some right-wing fanatic coming in to make sure JezuzKeerist approved of the textbooks.
My little granddegenerate is also attending an urban public middle school atm (okay, so maybe the fact that it's a nationally ranked math and science school has something to do with it).
I have several teacher friends who are very glad to see the homeschool movement take off. They say that it has decreased the number of crackpot parents they have to deal with. It hasn't eliminated them, but there are fewer of them with an ax to grind taking up time they could be spending working with kids.
