It's a true comment. It *is* easier to respond to someone who is obviously finding you attractive. A little boost to one's own ego can make insecurities and hesitations shut up and let one's own best qualities shine. I'm not talking about smarmy guys who stare at tits or women who first noticed what kind of car you're driving or watch you're wearing; I'm talking about people who laugh at your jokes; listen to what you say; or truly find whatever physical traits you happen to possess attractive.
