I was just reinvestigating remotethumbs and I realized I misspoke earlier, I had forgotten that one of the steps is to download a script at a certain point. This you just ftp up to your server and set the folder with the necessary permissions, so it is not a big deal, but yes, in answer to the first question, there is a script involved. But like I said, it's not a big deal
