You are implying that the two affiliates you do have are there because they can sell, due to their sales and marketing ability, and not through you or your companies ability to market these effectively?
Ruling out the entire affiliate revenue source is a potential mistake, you should be giving them the desire, the motivation and the support to enable them to push these products to the fore. Not just bitching about them being in moms basement and unable to sell.
