It certainly is an interesting place, especially when I was there .. walking down the street having your canadian g/f leading the way, being pushed and shoved, it was just so fucking rude. She had bruises from the excursion and not one apology. They seem to walk around with their elbows out to catch you on purpose. I adopted the same stance, and it was almost magical leading the way back like the parting of the red sea
