I may not be able to claim that I was involved in TGP2 from the very beginning, but I was an active participant for a long time.

I know for a fact that Oz has worked his ass off for TGP2 for as long as I can remember; considering the number of knife-holes he has in his back from people he's helped along the way, I have to admire him for it.

I found the notion that a 85-90% skim was too much more than a little absurd. The freakin' weekly meetings started up as a result of Oz running with one of my ideas, fer cryin' out loud - and what I remember about them could be used as proof positive that "getting webmasters to work together is like herding cats." Discussions of starting [insert marketing concept here]2 up before TGP2 could fly didn't seem like an approprite use of my time.

The end came for me when there was no place to submit galleries to that would send any traffic (and there was no competition from FHG at the time, because there weren't all that many sponsors that offered them).

An inadequate ROI is the one and only thing that got me out of TGP2 - and I've been mulling some ideas over in my head that might just point me right back there.
