But you Yanks who have never driven the original ones have never lived - 100mph with your bum less than six inches off the ground does something for your adrenilin levels that a Hummer can never achieve.
I knew a guy once who had wound his up with all the good gear till he could seriously lay rubber in all gears.
But if you're more conservative just think what it would cost to run a car that returned better than 40 mpg.
