Sarettah, i'm glad to see you pulled back on that one ....
I couldn't believe how many of you were jumping on the 'why should someone offering advice have credentials' question that pro asked that was perfectly valid .....
i don't have time to break it down right now but over half of jiz's original post is just babble that's been copied from somewhere and it was a lot of captain obvious statements that don't require experience to know ... pro was asking why he should take advice of someone who is a moderator of a board and putting his advice forward as fact when he has nothing to back it up.
After reading Jiz's post explaining why he is in a position to give advice on this subject, I can see that he isn't ...
The rule with 'everything but adult' (or mainstream as we all call it) is that anyone who is making any significant money is not going to tell you what they are doing on an adult chat board ...
I personally would not say I have had success in mainstream yet, but I have been able to use my adult business (due to the niches i do in adult) to branch into mainstream and as a result i'm making dribbles of money from different sources - nothing yet that I would consider significant but I was doing so badly in adult last year that anything growing is an improvement LOL
My approach has not been to search for areas that are making money as slavik and the other traffic guys here do who have had big $ success, but i've approached it from the content angle of using what I have to get traffic.
My long term goal has always been to have my own print magazine, so I judge my success based on achieving that goal ... which is going to happen this year.
I am loving every minute of developing it, enjoying myself again for the first time in a few years, my health is good and I'm inspired .... so i'd say i'm successful already, money is the bonus that makes it possible.
