In all honesty to see the true potential of blogs one must stand back from the industry as a whole and look at the effect and also what exactly a blog is.
Compairable to what the Model T, blogs have made it possible for the laymen to run his own website, to post his thoughts, pictures and favorite links for all to see. Before only html people and web developers had a shot at starting something big but for the first time, the tools are available to the masses.
Once again, this is a huge leap forward in our industry. A new service is available that is sweeping the mainstream arena with new blood and new ideas. Smart people are putting up blogs about countless things and it is estimated that DOUBLE the ammount of personal webspace/websites goes up everyyear because of blogs popularity.
Now thats a peice of pie i wanna taste.
