I would have to go with Led Zepellin for greatest band ever. They just really showed what it was to be a rock band. Plus their music doesn't suck.
I love Rush too though. Saw them a couple years ago and it was by far one of the most energetic shows I have ever seen. Neil Pert was unreal.
