I did the opposite and almost did it again - marrying a yankee!
Even though the husband indtroduced me to steamed blue crabs and Old Bay (for which I will ALWAYS be grateful), the one from NJ did nothing culinary for me. And when he put sugar on the grits I made for him....well, he just had to go :P
