logically if you say that the war in iraq was dually part of the war on terror (WMD), and for the freedom of the iraqi people. Then logic dictates that the stated misssion was a failure. There were no WMD or immexdiate threat to national security, and the region is unstable and rejecting democracy. so based on the facts, its an ABJECT failure.
But it will be spun as the primary action in an "ongoing war on terror". or at least an ongoing war on terror until Bush is out of office. the perfect way to backpedal his way out of it.
Meanwhile, back at the Ranch.. we are looking at a half a trillion deficit, and an inevitable tax increase.
Sounds like win/win to me.
