Lindsay.. i hear you on the statistics stuff.. you should see how much shit i have to wade through each month that sponsors dont include in their reports... amount of lost 'hits' etc etc.
It doesnt really bother me per say i just find the whole way of thinking for people like that baffling, i mean it stands to reason someone posting 24/7 has to much time on their hands and arent making any half-decent amount of money which is why they have the need to whore themselves out for the nickel a post for ther sigs.
In reality, as far as i can tell, the only reason to have 10k posts on ANY board, is if you have been a regular on it for 4-5 years or, you own the board in question.

That's what I meant by I understand you ...
I have said in MANY places that post count GENERALLY means shit.
And I LOVE it when some moron on a board I am not very active on calls me a "newbie".
Ha ha ha ha ha.
Boards are a tool, and they work, as we all know, and also as we all know, we all work them differently.
I just also saw the thread on GFY and wondered what all the drama was about.
Anyways, on your point.....
I worked simultaneously on 3 PC's lined up side by side..
One is my workhorse with email and stuff that I sit in front of...
Next along are a lot of things I refer to regularly and all my IM's of the varying pedigrees and some continual script stuff....
The third has some scripting and peer-to-peer running 24/7, and EVERY board I am active on is also open 24/7..
Ready access as I roll my comfy chair up and down the room.
Like in the real office of life, the boards are the virtual water cooler, and ANYONE who has worked in a real business know how much time the "Neville's" in life spend by the water cooler or aimlessly wandering the office floor.
I am just surprised it's all just become such a big deal .....
