Craps is a fun SOCIAL game. If you have a bnuch of friends and take over a table, a great time can be had by all - even if losing money.
It is a game in which cheering, and pulling for each other go hand in hand. I have had many good times at a crap table with friends.
Normally if I gamble, I play blackjack.
I do not understand the people who play slots religiously - my parents are part of this group. I tried to explain that they are all controled by computers and the casino. That if they like the sounds and pretty graphics I would buy them an computer game.
The wierd thing is, my parents normally always come home with money.... So they really do not pay much attention to me!

Slots are how the casinos make their money these days. Some people have very Pavlovian reactions to them....like a rat after a food pellet.
You're exactly right about Craps, probably the closest thing to a team game in a casino. Problem with craps is you can lose money very fast. I dont mind losing money in a casino, it's just the price of entertainment. However, I'd prefer to lose it slowly.
I generally stick with Blackjack or Pai Gow Poker.
Pai Gow Poker is a great game for just sitting, drinking and socializing a bit. The pace is MUCH slower than most of the other card games. And typically 3 hands out of 4 will result in a push, which means you lose money slowly.
