I haven't paid much attention to the news over the last 48 hours or so, but IF what the people trying to block the bill are charging is correct, and the new "Intelligence Czar" really would interfere with battelfield intelligence - then I'm on the side of some folks I don't usually side with.

Quite frankly, I only want as much cozying up between military intelligence, foreign intellience, and domistic intelligence as is absolutely necessary.

Frist's statement, however, reminds me of one I've seen attributed to Ghandi (as well as others) - "Excuse me, I'm the leader - I must catch up with my people."
